Millennium Images is delighted to present Millennium Images Volume Three, our third catalogue, ISBN 0954866800. Over the past few years Millennium has become accepted worldwide as a leading supplier of creative photography. This book is intended as a daily source of inspiration, a pocket companion, a sketchpad for creative thought and a showcase of some of our best photography.
The book contains 300 photographs, one image by each of 300 photographers and it is our intention that clients use this book as a guide to search our site online for more images by these photographers.
The catalogue has a pocket note book feel. It is bound in red leather, the front and back covers are held in place with red elastic. The cover is embossed with a gold Millennium logo and inside there is a gold ribbon that acts as a page marker. The dimensions are 9cms x14cms.
It contains 176 pages printed on quality paper. Aside from the 300 images there are assorted indices and articles on six photographic projects with links to online galleries. There is plenty of blank space for notes or sketches and some of the pages are printed with lines grids or patterns of dots. The concept was to produce a small precious book that people would want to keep and treasure, rather than the large disposable catalogues that define the stock industry.
Our collection has always been at the creative edge of contemporary photography. Our third catalogue has been designed by Chris Thomson at Studio Thomson, http://www.studiothomson.com. We feel it illustrates exactly what Millennium Images is all about.
The wide range of picture users who have responded well to our idiosyncratic images includes clients such as Mother, Abbot Mead Vickers /BBDD, Bloomsbury Publishing, HarperCollins, Random House Publishing, Virgin Music, The Sunday Times, The New Yorker and New Scientist.
Millennium distributes the catalogue directly to our clients in the UK. We also have distributors in Holland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece and the USA.
