In the year 2000, Mark Thomas traveled to Prague and spent three full days underground photographing the Metro. There followed a successful exhibition in D'Arblay Street and the award of a silver medal at the RPS Annual Worldwide competition 2000, the winning picture being 'Blowing Hair'. He has recently returned from Moscow where he has been photographing the Metro system and he will be holding an exhibition in Poland Street in November of some of the pictures. He is planning to travel to Stockholm in January to photograph the Metro system there.
