Inspired by Flowers
Richard’s current exhibition, Inspired by Flowers would seem to be totally at odds with his love of movement, but he feels that there is tremendous motion and vibrancy in the apparent stillness of flowers and their endless visual mood changes over a period of photography. Another challenge when asked to do this exhibition was to attempt to avoid the visual cliches often associated with ‘flower photography’.

Inspired by Flowers , continues at Petersham Nurseries, Richmond through February 2008 and is included in the IPG Gallery Battle, end of year show.

London based lifestyle photographer Richard Dunkley has worked in The UK, Europe and the US for nearly thirty years.
