About the work: Complexities of the Mind, Imagination & Reality
In the world swallowed by pandemic, social media and fake realities, I am turning my lens onto stories that reflect the state of mind and people who are turning to nature in search of truth and as a way of healing. I wanted to create a multi-layered portrait of identity and mental health in our youth who turn to imaginative mindscapes to escape the pain of reality.
This project is a response to the ongoing climate change crisis and how it affects the mental state of our youth that feel the weight of responsibility to heal the Earth while trying to heal themselves.
