Paul Walsh is a British photographer and drone operator who works on personal projects and commissions throughout the UK and internationally. His personal work examines the relationship between walking and photography where he creates projects drawn from the physical, psychological and historical experience of walking.
Each project begins with a different approach to walking such as – following lines randomly drawn on a map across a city, carrying out a series of nocturnal ambulation’s, circumambulating a building on foot repeatedly, undertaking a long-distance pilgrimage. He has worked on numerous series exploring ideas on the narrative landscape, utilising place to communicate the experience of both an external and internal journey.
He is now a Millennium Images contributor
